Rosie is a neglected/abused dog who was hit by a car on Friday evening. It didn't look as though she was going to make it, but she is now in stable condition. This poor creature experienced hell while living in Paradise, NL. If you can spare a few bucks to help pay her medical bills, perhaps she'll get a second chance and have more to eat than tin foil, orange peels, and screws.

UPDATE from Heavenly Creatures:
Rosie was released from the veterinary hospital on Friday evening - one week to the day of her accident. Rosie is now in foster care with local dog trainer Ken Reid, and is doing well - she's actually coming around faster than we thought she would, both physically and psychologically. However, Rosie is not yet healthy enough to be put under for her spay, and the removal of her broken teeth; her doctor says she has to wait a few weeks. In the meantime, she'll get plenty of TLC from all of us! As he does with all the dogs he fosters, Ken is keeping a blog of Rosie's progress: http://web.me.com/kenreid/The_World_of_Ken/Rosies_Blog/Rosies_Blog.html
We should soon have some new pictures of her to share with you.
