Fluffy's Law died with barely a whimper in the Manitoba legislature on Tuesday, but the province promised to do more to help renters keep a four-legged creature to cuddle. Bill 218, the Residential Tenancies Amendment Act, got a lot more attention than most private member's motions. Introduced by Liberal Leader Jon Gerrard late last year, it would have prohibited "no-pet" clauses in rental agreements.
