Many of you may be familiar with the stories of animal abuse and neglect in Labrador. Or perhaps you have seen the images of beaten and abandoned animals yourself. But through the trauma, there is hope. People like Erika Stockley in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are giving them a second chance. Erika is a volunteer with the SPCA and has recently adopted a little dog named Penny.
