Minister Alarmed By Animal Abuse

The Newfoundland and Labrador minister responsible for animal welfare says recent alarming cases of abuse show the need for education at an early age. Volunteers with the SPCA in Happy Valley-Goose Bay reported a series of horrifying cases involving dogs, with animals starved, stabbed, burned with cigarettes and found with fish hooks stuck in their bodies.
